Do you offer free trial?

No, we do not offer free trials.

Which strategy should I trade?

When selecting a strategy from daytraderplaybook, it's paramount to meticulously review backtest results and closely analyze historical trades to discern patterns and efficacy. Additionally, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the strategy's underlying logic is crucial. Before committing real capital, we recommend monitoring the strategy in real-time and engaging in paper trading for several months. Once you observe consistent performance and develop confidence in its effectiveness on your paper account, then consider transitioning towards automating the strategy.

Should I modify the code or adjust strategy inputs?

The flexibility to tailor the strategies to your preferences is one of the benefits we offer through providing the Pine Scripts. Subscribers are at liberty to modify the code, adjust the parameters of each strategy, and optimize the systems to align with their preferred trading parameters. Our aim is to provide a robust foundation from which you can fine-tune your trading approach to better meet your individual objectives and risk tolerance.

Will actual results be aligned with the backtests?

Some of the strategies utilize exits on stop losses that do not wait for the bars to close. Hence, these strategies might have slightly different live results compared to the backtests. However, the differences are usually very minor. To see a more realistic view of the prior backtest, it is recommended to apply 5-6 ticks of slippage to the backtests.

How do I automate your strategies?

If you decide to trade any of the published strategies, you can automate them via TradersPost, a service which connects Trading View with the brokerages.

How much capital do I need in my account to use the automated strategies?

Although we cannot provide financial advice, the examples shown had starting capital of $100,000 on the Mini-NQ. However, you can start with as little as $10,000 if you trade the Micro-NQ or MNQ because the point value is 1/10th the size. These figures are calculated by taking the max drawdown numbers and starting with at least double the highest historical max drawdown. This gives a good likelihood you will not need to put more capital into the account to keep the strategy trading.

Do you provide any stock trade recommendations to your subscribers?

No, we do not.

Do you provide personalized advice on investment decisions?

No, we do not.

Do you manage other people's money?

No, we do not.

Trading futures and options is a challenging and potentially profitable opportunity for educated and experienced investors. However, before deciding to participate in the futures and options market(s), you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. There is considerable exposure to risk in futures and options transactions. Any transaction involves risks including, but not limited to, the potential for changing political and/or economic conditions that may substantially affect the price or liquidity of a market. Moreover, the leveraged nature of futures and options trading means that any market movement will have an equally proportional effect on your deposited funds. This may work against you as well as for you. The possibility exists that you could sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and your position will be liquidated and you will be responsible for any resulting losses. Investors are recommended to lower exposure to risk by employing risk reducing strategies.
